OPK Confusion. HELP

Has anyone had what they thought could be a positive OPK on a generic brand test but then tested with a different brand and it was negative?

I bought generic Walgreens brand OPK's and tested at about 3 yesterday and it looked positive. I took the First response OPK i had at about 8 because i thought it was weird since i wasnt suppose to be ovulating until the following weekend and that one came out negative.

So i took another Walgreens brand today and its def. positive this time.. no guessing.

Should i trust it?
