cervix after you already have kids?

I checked my cervix today at 5wks 2 days pregnant which I haven't done since I found out at 3 wks 5 days. but it still feels low hardish and open like I can stick my finger tip inside? I have 2 other kids that will be 3 in august and 2 in September. will it just always be a little open? I just assumed that if it closed after ovulation that it would close completely when I got pregnant.

I've never given birth so I can't say from experience but I've read several places that if you gave birth vaginally that your cervix will likely always feel slightly open.

My first was a vaginal delivery and my cervical opening feels like a slit as opposed to a dimple, it closed up tight tho. It's gonna vary with each woman, slightly open may be normal for u. I wouldn't tempt fate by pokin' around up there, esp if it feels open. U really don't wanna risk infection if u scratch urself. Don't stress it!!
