Question

How likely is it? Can i get some help?

I know that being sick can delay ovulation in which would make a period late or cycle longer. But i'm not sure if the if a stomach flu can delay menses?

At 7dpo i started feeling ill, bloated and constipated and by 10dpo i was puking and had diarrhea. I didn't have any type of stomach pain or any type of body aches or fever either. But i'm sure it was a stomach bug. But since i had already ovulated will my period still be affected by it? I was suppose to start my period yesterday and its late.

I always like to wait for a missed period before i test and buy hpts. I don't want to run out and buy a pregnancy test to figure out later that it was late because of the stomach bug i had. I'm trying to wait till Monday but i just need some advice or an opinion about this cause i'm super nervous about all this. Can me being sick during tww be a reason to why i am late? Or am i in denial? lol

FYI i am ttc but im just super nervous. It will be baby#1

Thank you ladies.

being sick like that with no stomach pain, and then being late on your period could be related to pregnancy. The only way to rule it out either way is to test. They have $1 tests at Dollar Tree if expense is an issue. Best to test with first morning urine, because that is when the hcg or pregnancy hormone will be the strongest. Don't be nervous, and I hope you get your BFP!
