How long does it take to get a positive HPT after Implantation Bleeding?
Hello everyone! I am 14DPO today and i had some light discharge with a brownish tent two days ago (12DPO) this morning AF was due and i always wake up to it but there was no sign of it, so i POAS this morning and it was BFN!
I'm 21, DH is 24 and we've been trying for a couple months now. I don't temp. i think next time i will, but it won't be for a while because DH is active duty and just left for a 6 month deployment! So, i really hope it's a lucky month for us!
My LMP was 3April2016, and I ovulated on 20April2016 which was kinda late this cycle.
i feel like I've been having signs and symptoms since i ovulated! but they are pretty typical in both pre menstrual and pregnancy situations. But i have been having annoying cramps on and off the whole luteal phase which has never happened to me before. they don't hurt. However, they just bug me because i never get them until a day before my AF starts.
So I want to know when would be the best time to test if it was infact IB?

There is absolutely no evidence what-so-ever that "implantation bleeding" is real. All the studies on bleeding in very early pregnancy have failed to show a correlation between implantation and early vaginal bleeding, much less a causation. Because of this there is no hard and fast rule on when you'd expect a positive after "implantation bleeding." Some ladies say they get IB several days before a positive. Other ladies report getting it several days after a positive, and everything in between.
Personally, I'd try to disregard the "implantation bleeding" for now and stick to your original testing plans, whatever they were.
Also, unless you normally have a 13 day luteal phase your period would be due tomorrow, not today.
