I don't know which digital you used but I know some digitals don't read positive till 50miu of hCG. Most tests read positive around 25miu of hCG. The most sensitive digitals that I know of are the ClearBlue digital with weeks estimator and the First Response Gold Digital. They both read positive around 18-20miu of hCG if I remember correctly. So if you want to confirm with a digital maybe try one of those.

This happened to me, I took 3 regular tests which all came back positive and then a supermarket brand digital which came back negative. Doctor says this was due to me being in the very early stages of pregnancy and the test hadn't picked up enough HGC in my urine!
can I ask what time of day you took the test? mines was late at night and doc said that urine I tested could have been slightly diluted due to fluid intake throughout the day. Best to test early morning for best result.
