Period like pains 8 weeks pregnant?
Hi ladies
I am approximately 8 weeks pregnant, since this morning I have been experiencing af like pains that come and go, they aren't painful and there's no bleeding, if I wasn't pregnant this is around the time that I would have been on my period. I am a little worried is this normal?

I had a few cramp like sensations in the first trimester, not quite like af but similar. It was more of an expansion/ pressure crampy feeling from the uterus growing and pushing things up rather than a contracting cramp like af. I also experienced bleeding though too, sometimes bright red, approximately around the time of a regular period (5 weeks, 8 weeks and 13 weeks ish). Everything turned out fine! If you're really worried about it you can always call your ob just to put your mind at ease.
