Question

After how long should I wait to get pregnant again?

March 2013 I had a miscarriage then I decided to start prevention n avoid unplanned pregnancy.
I used a 2months injection prevention on April 2013..around June I stopped seeing my periods for good..as I was worried for not seeing my period I decided to stop this prevention last year April..my periods only came around November.. it's been a year now without taking any contraceptions n now I'm planning to conceive. I've been having unprotected sex for months but still I can't fall pregnant..I sometimes feel preggy but I get disappointed when I do a home pregnancy test..

I never had any "fertility" issues until I took the depo birth control shot! Once I stopped the shot, I got a short period and then NOTHING again for over 12 mos. Finally my doctor determined that I have PCOS and we've gone through some other steps to TTC. However...I was completely regular prior to the shot. That all being said, I've heard the shot in particular can take 12-18 mos to get out of your system completely. Good luck!
