HCG blood quantitative levels in early pregnancy

Is a HCG quantitative of 1.98 to low for pregnancy???

I could be wrong but I thought it had to be over 5 for you to be pregnant.

I agree with Debbie, below 5 is not considered to be pregnant.

hCG under 5mIU/ml: Negative, not pregnant.
hCG between 5-25 mIU/ml: Uncertain; possible pregnancy but not definitive. Repeat test in a couple of days.
hCG over 25 mIU/ml: You are pregnant!
