Question

Is this early pregnancy bleeding or miscarriage?

Last week I got a positive pregnancy test and the next morning I started bleeding. I panicked and went to the doctor where she confirmed my fear that I was most likely having a miscarriage. I decided not to get the blood draw and went home to wait it out. After a day and a half of moderate bleeding my bleeding slowed and stopped completely after only 4 days. I took a home pregnancy test this morning and to my surprise it was positive. Not faint either, it was very easy to see. Since I finished bleeding I assumed the test would be negative. I called the doctor back and she thought it was weird that I only bled for a few days and didn't pass any clots. She even said at this point she's not sure I'm having a miscarriage but she's not sure that I'm not.
Has anyone ever experienced this? Do you think it's just early pregnancy bleeding or is this a miscarriage and the positive test is just leftover hormones?
