Question

Does this sound like a miscarriage???

I took a pregnancy test at work yesterday and one of the nurses confirmed that I was indeed pregnant (before that I had taken about 6 for the part 3 days with faint positive lines). This morning I woke up feeling very nauseous. I took another test which came up faint positive (just like all the others....not a strong line but you could see it without squinting). When I went to wipe myself I noticed light pink and lotion coloured discharge. I was super excited because I thought it was implantation bleeding but then I saw blood in the toilet as well...not a lot of blood though. By the time I got to work 2 hours later I was bleeding not overly heavy but enough where I put on a pad because I was afraid I'd mess up my clothes. Now I am having period-like bleeding...still not as heavy as my regular ones but pretty constant and I am cramping mildly. I noticed several very small blood clots but nothing that looks like tissue or even as big as blood clots that I usually pass during reg period.

I could be a miscarriage or it could be something else. I had bleeding in every pregnancy I have had. Sometimes it meant nothing other times it was a miscarriage. I would make a doctors appointment. I hope everything is ok.

It sounds like a chemical pregnancy. I've had both a cp and miscarriage, with a cp you'll just bleed more heavily than your period is normally, but your body bounces back very quickly from a chemical and you can ttc the very next cycle.

It does sound like a chemical. :( With mine, my tests darkened for 4 days, then stayed the same for a week, then began to fade, till one day, there wasn't even the hint of a line. That day I started to bleed. We're all different though. I would continue to test each day and monitor the line. If it doesn't disappear, then it could be a number of other things. I would also make an appointment. With the bleeding being somewhat period-like, they may want to do an ultrasound to rule out ectopic. Best of luck, praying for you, and keep us posted.

Honestly IDK if it was a chemical or not. I just know that blood is now coming out way heavy...like gushing out 2 pads in the past hour and I feel as if someone is stabbing all across my pelvic area and my back is killing me. I am also passing clots. IDK what it is but I know that there is no way I can still be pregnant after all this blood.

Oh hun, I'm so sorry. That sounds pretty heavy. There's no reason to panic but for the sake of being seen today, I would head in to the ER. They will surely do an ultrasound to check for ectopic. You want to have that checked because it can be a danger to you. I will be praying for you. I've been there and I understand. <3

I'm in a similar boat. The day after a positive pregnancy test I started bleeding somewhat heavily (not quite like a period but enough to be alarming) I went to the doc and she suspects miscarriage. But now it's a day after I started bleeding and the bleeding is slowing down. I've had a miscarriage before and once I got to a heavier flow the bleeding didn't slow down until a week or so later. I don't know if it's wishful thinking but now I'm hoping I'm not miscarrying? I don't know.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you- I just wanted you to know you're not alone.
