If you haven't started bleeding and you haven't got your bloods back how do you know it's a chemical?

I forgot to add that my tests have came back negative for two days now. That's why I believe this is a chemical. Sorry for not putting that in there. My brain is mush right now.
Do you have any input on the question, Debbieg1984? Have you ever had a chemical?

I am now spotting very lightly as well. Just wanted to add this.

I have had a chemical pregnancy. I got my bfp and a few days later I woke up and knew something was wrong. Sure enough that afternoon I started bleeding. I went to my early pregnancy unit and they did a test which came back negative and the doctor actually accused me of lying about being pregnant! Luckily my mother in law was with me(she is a nurse) and demanded they do a blood test. I received a phone call the next day confirming that my blood was positive for pregnancy. I had to go back 48 hours later for repeat bloods. These confirmed that my hcg had dropped and I had miscarried. How many dpo are you now?

That's exactly one of the reasons I've had my betas ran. I was accused of not getting a bfp, even with the test right there. The other reason is for insurance purposes. Thank you for your story. It gives me some comfort. I didn't get my test results back today like I'd hoped, but I did start bleeding tonight. Slowly. It's weird, not like a normal AF.

I'm 14dpo today. I have a 12 day L phase each month, so I'm 2 days late.

This was a chemical pregnancy. My hcg came back at 4.2, which indicated that I was indeed pregnant.
