Right ovary pain

This month on the day of ovulation my right ovary hurt. I have had this type of pain for a few years now. I thought that it was a hernia back when it started that that Gyno told me that it was round ligament pain because she did my yearly exam and didn't feel anything. I have had 2 more annual exams since then and they too have felt nothing abnormal with my ovary and say the same thing.
Have any of you experienced this pain. It lasted for 3 days but now I still feel it when DH and I DTD. I have regular cycles and everything else seams fine...
