Miscarriage, when to start trying again
Hi just wondering can anyone help i had my 12 week scan and was told that i miscarried that the baby stopped growi g at 7 weeks. I had no symstoms and never bleeded, and had to take the tablets to bring on miscarriage and i started them last tuesday and bleed right up until this tuesday and it stopped last night and has started again today just wondering when is the best time to start trying again,

There are actually recent studies that suggest the chances of conceiving after miscarriage are highest in the first three months and declines steadily reaching normal chances after 9 months. Doctors used to to suggest waiting, but the most recent literature says you are free to start trying after the next period :-)

First off im so sorry for your loss hun. I just went to my Ob app and asked her the same thing. She said that usually they prefer we wait 2-3 months, but thats mainly because they want to make sure our bodies have completely healed, and so they can get a more accurate due date. but she said we can start whenever the bleeding has stopped and we feel emotionally ready. but thats based on no complications. I MC on Feb 20th at 5-6 weeks, naturally. sticky baby dust
