6 months of active trying after getting my Mirena removed we conceived our #3 (DS1). The last two months we tried opks and preseed - I found out I was ovulating a lot earlier than I thought I was, I definitely think the opks and preseed helped. I don't think my fertility was affected any way by the mitena - I had it in for over 4 years. Good luck and baby dust!
