Question

Prenatal appointment scheduling?

I've had a few miscarriages and I was married for two years about a year and a half ago, (we didn't have a good marriage and he was terrified of getting me pregnant), I've been with my current husband for eight months, no protection, and I just barely got pregnant. So I've had a hard time getting pregnant, the doctor I want to see doesn't schedule appointments 7-8 weeks into it, I'm 5 weeks. Should I push for an appointment sooner?

If you have a history of miscarriages and are concerned I would call the doctor and let him know. He/she might not think its necessary but might as well voice your concerns and try :) Otherwise, try not to worry. Take a prenatal vitamin and stop smoking and drinking if you do. Good luck doll!
