Equate faint back line

Took a test last night, and it looked like ---/| but than a cross started to appear but it is very faint but good enough to see without light shining onto it. so I'm very confused. Am I pregnant or false test?

I had false positives on blue dye pregnancy tests with the cross (or maybe they were chemical pregnancies)

If it's blue dye go buy a red dye test, either way test again in 48 hours if pregnant hcg will have doubled and should appear darker.
