Creamy CM with stretch?

Hi,
Today I checked my CM and got a good quantity of creamy CM. However, when trying to stretch it between my fingers, I noticed that there was some stretch to it. Only a little, though, like an inch or so. I didn't have sex since last weekend, so I don't think it's sperm. I'm on CD 17 and don't think I have ovulated yet (usually 32-day cycle). Could it mean that I'm approaching my fertile period?
