Dark brown discharge instead of period?

My lmp was Nov 22 and was normal. Should've had another one on December 20 but never showed. I had blood work done on the 30 and the doc said looks like you're not pregnant. Did multiple tests and were negative. My period was suppose to start on January 17. A few days before I had light cramps and pinkish red discharge that was super stretchy. Yesterday and today the discharge was dark brown and still super stretchy. I had a tampon in yesterday and it filled maybe 1/4 of it. Today I have a panty liner I'm with one little drop of brown on it.

Is this my period?

Perhaps your not ovulating and that's why your period is unusually light, maybe see a doctor or gynocologist. All the best.

You could be describing my issues...exactly! I was advised to wait until Wednesday by my specialist if AF doesnt show up in full red force before then.

I normally always have normal medium flow periods. My only "symptoms" currently are extremely bloated and tingly breasts. I was nauseous on and off about a week or two ago almost daily.
