Question

Starting 3rd round Clomid...what CD am I??

Very, very faint spotting started Wed 1/6 but only when wiping and continued on Thur 1/7 but a bit "heavier" only not heavy at all by normal standards. Thur 1/7 was my expected AF so I assumed it would come. Nothing further until Fri 1/8 finally a bright red drop of blood but then nothing else. Nothing at all on Sat 1/9 so on Sun 1/10 took HPT = BFN. Finally this afternoon I had cramps followed by normal flow, bright red blood (enough to need a tampon for the first time).
My question is that I'm due to start my 3rd round of Clomid this month and my Dr. prescribes it CD5-9. Do I count Thur 1/7 as CD1 since I had spotting and that's when I normally would start? Or Fri 1/8 b/c that's the first day of red blood or, do I consider today as CD1 because it's the first day of full flow?
I was planning to take my Clomid days 4-8 this cycle even though Dr. says days 5-9 b/c I just feel the need to try something different. Increased to 100mg from 50mg but feeling desperate! Baby dust t
