No period yet, MC Nov 23

I had an early MC Nov 23, and to this day I have not gotten a period. How long will it take to get my period back? I have taken two pregnancy tests but both came back negative. My Doc said if I don't get my period in the month of December, I will need an ultrasound. Has anyone been through somethig similar?

I was told period will return somewhere between 4-6 weeks after, its good thst tests are negative means less likely to have tissue remaining, if you still havent had period by 6 weeks retest if youve been trying to concieve straight away x
