Question

faint positive after my mc 9 weeks ago. Don't know what to think

Hello. well I have had 3 mc this year. Chemical and then the baby didn't form and my last one was 11 weeks ago. totally stressed out as I didn't want to get pregnant right now. we have been so careful and I am not to sure when I ovulated and I could be anywhere in my cycle. I also just started my counselling to help me deal with everything. I am going to wait to test but the hope and joy is there along with a good dose of fear which is totally normal. what do you ladies think? should I let the bomb drop or should I wait atleast till the new year or what. I am so shocked I had my mc 9 weeks ago and plus my brother and his wife told everyone that they are pregnant. Almost think I should just keep t to myself and not tell a soul. What if it is a chemical

That's clearly a personal decision. You may want to share only with a few very close friends or relatives depending on how you feel about it. I always waited until 12 weeks before announcing to anyone because of the high likelihood for a miscarriage (in my case)? I like to avoid being asked how things are progressing and in the end having to tell everyone about a loss. Best wishes and sticky vibes!

Like Mozart said when you tell people is a very personal decision. Some people want to go ahead and tell everyone early and have everyone be happy together and then be sad together if it ends in a loss. Others prefer to keep it private till they're more sure of the good news so if it ends in a loss the grieving process can be more private. With my last pregnancy I ended up telling my mother and I had a MC 2 weeks later. I ended up being thankful that I had someone to lean on for support. It would have been difficult to grieve my loss just me and DH.

I'm so sorry for your other losses. I can only imagine the mixed emotions you must be having over this new pregnancy. Hopefully this will be your take home rainbow baby.

Wishing you all the best.

I'd go get an ultrasound in a week or so! 9 weeks after mc seems perfectly reasonable to me... I had a loss in November at 13 weeks and I ovulated again a month later.
