Testing after the DnC

I had DnC on Nov. 12 (MMC at 8w6d), my hcg was at 40,000 three days earlier, and 1,000 a week after the DnC.
I started testing hcg to know when it hits 0 and got my BFN on Nov. 28 (2w after). But today, 3 days later, it is clearly positive again. Can it go back and forth?

Hi there, I'm so sorry for your loss xx When I had my ectopic, my numbers fluctuated a bit towards the lower numbers. I had days when the test was clearly negative and others that showed a pretty obvious faint line. It can take some time to settle. xx
