We've hit 12 months ttc, I need some encouragement.
So, we have finally reached the 12 month ttc mark. As per usual my period arrived, a day late but nonetheless, it's here. I had all good intention of BBT, charting, using OPK as per usual this month, continuing with taking evening primrose oil and Maca and folic but over the last few hours I have decided I am not going to do any of that this month. I'm unsure whether I will be in the mindset not doing OPK etc in January , apart from the BD, but this month I have reached the point where it hasn't happened with me trying so damm hard for the 12th month so I though let's have December off to enjoy Xmas and the run up to it, enjoy sex with my husband and see if it happens. We will continue to have sex every other day through out the month but I won't be writing every thing down and temping etc. Did anyone else get pregnant after the 12 month mark by just waving the white flag for a while and giving up (mentally) for a while. I know we're all trying but god this is so hard.xx

We are literally in the same boat. Im at my 12 month mark as well. Ive driven myself and my household to the point of insanity lol! I take vitamins, i chart, i Opk, i check my cervix, i have pretty much drained my poor husband to where its no longer enjoyable. It just doesnt happen for us..every month BfN. Im ready to just take a break, maybe go on a vacation, enjoy the holidays like you said. Ive heard of people who just gave up and it happening for them. Maybe stress is a factor and we just arnt letting nature take its course. Ive been so down in the dumps lately about TTC, its consumed my life. I really hope you have some good luck over the holidays! I know how exhausting it is, and how much of a let down it is when AF arrives! Maybe not thinking about it is the ticket, i do wish you the best and please keep us updated! Much love and baby dust to you!
