Question

Bad pain that's keeping me up at night HELP! Please

I got my BFP few days ago but at the same time I have a constant period pain... The pain is bad, and seems to only be on the right hand side... The constant sore thigh and right lower abdomen with small amounts going left side, my back hurts a lot.. It gotten to the point now where it's 2:30am and I can't lay back down.. I have doctors appointment later this afternoon but that's exactly 12hours away.. I might have to go see a general GP.
Not even panadol is working it just burns through it too quick, please tell me I hopefully won't have this pain the whole pregnancy lol I need sleep now for the restless nights in 9 months time lol

Congratulations on your BFP!

I agree with Anastasia999 that you should probably be checked to make sure you aren't have an ectopic if the pain continues. I'm assuming your doctor will probably check that at your appointment.

Also, when I was pregnant week 4 was really rough. My back hurt so bad I'd have to get up and pace around the room in the middle of the night waiting for Tylenol to start working. I had to sleep with 3 pillows: one between my legs, one wedged against my back and the one under my head. In a couple of days the pain got better. I guess it was part of the joys of loosening/stretching ligaments and a growing uterus.

Another thing I wanted to mention was that there is a sister site for this one for pregnant women: countdownMYpregnancy. It has the same basic format with a question/answer section and such but the ladies there are pregnant. You may find it more helpful over the next 9 months.

Wishing you the best.
