Question

Pregnancy after a bi-lateral mastectomy

I had a bi-lateral mastectomy and reconstruction when I was 25. I'm now 29 and trying to conceive. I can't find anything on mastectomy's and pregnancy symptoms and breast change(if any). Has anyone had a pregnancy after a mastectomy? What was your changes and how did the mastectomy effect you?

Hi there! I had my double mast with reconstruction in 2012. I was pregnant for two months (missed miscarraige at eight weeks) and to be honest with you, i felt nothing different with my foobs (fake boobs). It was really hard knowing that I skipped one of the very first signs of pregnancy because I no longer have breast tissue. Not saying that its not possible to have breast changes (especially if there were some tissue left behind) but for me personally, I felt nothing. My first sign was morning sickness and I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 7 weeks along. You are more than welcome to visit my TTC Journal on here to get more details in my first two entries. Good luck to you, hun.
