It's possible that your levels are still fairly low or that your urine was too diluted to give an accurate reading or a combination of both. The pee tests at the doctors office aren't any more sensitive than most HPTs, which is why some doctors rely on blood tests.

My second child my hpt was positive with bedtime urine. Went to the doctor the next day with first morning urine tested negative. They drew blood. Came back positive. I took an early detection hpt that was a bit more sensitive. Wait a couple of days and test again. If it is still positive go back in. I know it is upsetting. Hope you find out for sure soon.

Thanks everyone! I'm still so confused, got some more bleeding through the night ( not as much as a period) and the line is still this faint? Can anyone help?

Hello, Six years ago the same thing happened to me... I went to the Dr. office and negative urine test after I had already gotten a couple of hpts. I demanded a blood test, and a week or so later I received my results "PREGNANT". Little did I know I was carrying boy-girl twins!
