Contradicting cervix/cm and opk results. What????
I have been using opks and observing cervical and mucus changes for almost a year, my periods aren't really regular so knowing when I ovulate has been great for knowing when we can be and when to expect AF. This month is really weird though. So, last month's cycle was 49 day, so I didn't expect ewcm and super soft open cervix on cd 13 and didn't test opk because I blew it off as just weird. CD 14 ewcm was more abundant so I took an opk that afternoon (I had been drinking plenty of fluids throughout the day too), which was slightly positive. Totally shocked, but here's the bigger shocker. CD 15 morning I tested super positive... But my cervix is medium, neither soft nor really firm, and cm.. Well, its kinda creamy. Like half watery. Any others experiencing the opk/cervix flip flops or any ideas about what is going on???
I'm going to continue to test to see what it does.
Right now: CD 15 pm - slightly positive. Cm & position same as am

I don't think it's especially contradictory. Afaik as soon as the egg is released creamy cm begins, so you'll still test positive on opks when that happens. This cycle my peak fertile cm was really watery, and changed to creamy rapidly. The cervix doesn't *have* to be high and soft for ovulation (mine wasn't this cycle, it was the same as yours) it just tends to be. The opks are no doubt more reliable, cervix position can be really unpredictable and isn't a totally reliable sign of anything. Good luck this cycle.
