2 days post D&C question...increased bleeding and cramping.
Hi everyone. So on Monday we found that our supposed 8 week baby no longer had a heartbeat. There was a heartbeat last Monday, and this Monday it was gone:( I had no signs of impending miscarriage, so I opted for the D&C or D&E, and had it done Tuesday. Question is...for the first 2 days I had hardly any cramping or bleeding. Currently I'm having awful menstrual like cramps and more bleeding. Anyone experience anything similar? Thanks in advance.

I am truly sorry for your loss 3 years ago I went through the same thing after sitting in a er waiting room for 24 hours the cramping should subside in a few days it lasted about 4days for me my Dr told me to do pain management and wrote me a prescription and told me for the hours in between to take motrin I hope this helps and agian I'm truly sorry

I'm so sorry for your loss! When we lost ours at 3 mths the doctor made us have a D&C . After the first D&C I had huge clots, and major cramping. It looked like someone had dumped grape jelly down my pants. I went into the doctor the next day, and after another ultrasound they said I still had "tissue" left so we had to do another D&C. After the second one I had a third D&C with a laparoscopy due to rectal pain, but with the final one I had no pain or clotting. I would tell your doctor what's going on so they can do an ultrasound to make sure everything is ok.
