Question

I have a very faint plus symbol...

I have just taken a pregnancy test and after 5 minutes I have seen a faint plus sign. I have tried every type of test it feels like and have the same result. I am very unsure if that means I am or am not pregnant? I'm 3 days late and I am pretty sure I have the worst luck in the world so my test wouldn't show accurately. I hAve a million symptoms as well! Help!

Answer from Coley (submitted on Facebook): "After four babies, I can tell you a positive is a positive. How faint or dark the line is doesn't matter, as long as it's definitely a plus sign. But you need to schedule a blood test. In the meantime, try a digital test!! Seeing the word "Pregnant" might ease your mind a little. Congratulations!!"

Answer from Kristi (submitted on Facebook): " If it is blue dye DO NOT trust it. Blue dye tests are notorious for confusing/misleading women because blue dye tests are more likely to develop evaporation lines. I have personally had that experience. Took a cheap +/- blue dye test from Walmart and after 5 or 10 minutes it looked like a +. However, I wasn't pregnant and it was definitely NOT a chemical/miscarriage. I even showed other people who saw the faint +."
