Hi, the mind is a funny thing, it sometimes fixates on something totally ridiculous and then we get worked up thinking what if it came true. Well, it's not going to come true, the probability of that is miniscule! So please please relax! Take care of yourself and enjoy your pregnancy! Try to think positive thoughts and whenever this thought comes in your mind just think everything in life is not in your control so you are going to put this thought in a lil box and throw away the key. You are not allowed to think about it as you have left it to God/ a higher power to deal with it. So that you can concentrate on everyday things! Just think if we all spent our time thinking of everything that could go wrong we would drive ourselves nuts!!! You are blessed to have four kids and a fifth on the way! Enjoy it! Good wishes for a happy, healthy pregnancy! My prayers are with you!

i have four as well, no complications but i was much younger. i am 42 and the tests say I'm newly pregnant. i fear the same thing- just not panicking ...yet l haha I worry that i will have out lasted my luck and die maybe. i think its normal to worry and we are at higher risk ...... breathe keep breathing find a cognitive behavioral therapist who can talk to you ad teach you ways to calm you fears in your mind and body so you keep your bp down and get that panic under control. this is what i do for a living and it really does work and help people. i will be getting one for me as well if this sticks! :) good luck--- check out psychology today find a therapist and get a CBT one. best of luck!!

and yes you will be ok... but that usually doesn't work to reassure people.. you need someone to help you investigate why these worries make sense and don't make sense to you.. then you'll see the power taken out of the fears ... and learn ways to relax your body -- then the mind will follow - several methods are extremely helpful for this. try a therapist out. cognitive behavioral though.
