Question

Have you experienced this and found out you were pregnant? :)

Has anyone had waves of nausea starting at 5dpo that turned into all day nausea (almost) that found out they were pregnant?? Or experienced this and found out it was just PMS? I have lots of other symptoms too and I am now 10dpo but I have a short luetial phase (12 days). Tested on 8 & 9 dpo but it was negative but of course I think it's too early. I just feel like I am pregnant. But I don't want to get my hopes up again. I also woke up 10dpo and smells are making me sick this morning. Is it too early for that?!

5dpo is too early for symptoms. Pregnancy symptoms are caused by a raise in hormones, which isn't noticeable until a few days after implantation which usually takes place between 6-12 dpo. However it can happen earlier or later.
Some good advice I got: If you're pregnant enough to have symptoms, you're pregnant enough to turn a test positive. So wait a few days and test again. Good luck!

I would wait a few days and test. I had symptoms from my last child from 3 dpo and on so it's possible.

You cannot have symptoms at 3 dpo because implantation does not happen any earlier than 6 dpo. It takes the fertilized egg this prescribed amount of time to develop BEFORE it can implant. This is a plain fact. Any symptoms one feels BEFORE implantation are due to other reasons, mainly the rise in progesterone.

There is no for sure way to confirm when implantation is gonna happen for each woman. I had symptoms at 4dpo with my 16 month old son, got bfp @ 8dpo. I temped, used opk's and checked my cervix so I can be certain of when I ovulated. You can def feel symptoms early on.

So I did find out at 10 DPO, RIGHT after I posted this on the 4th of July that I was in fact pregnant!! I wasn't going to test, I was going to wait until I missed my period, but something told me to test again! I know 3dpo is way to early for implantation, but I am a firm believer in symptoms after the egg and sperm meet! Every woman is different and I was for sure not making up what I was feeling. I did read that the more pregnancies you have, you become more sensitive and more aware to what's going on inside your body. I knew before I got my positive, but didn't want to get my hopes up!! Starting at 6-7 DPO I woke up very nauseated and that NEVER happens so I knew something was up! I have never had symptoms this strong so early! This will be my 3rd child - 4th pregnancy!! When you know, you know!! ;)
