Question

Please help... I had positive pregnancy test but now I no longer test positive...

I'm eight days past my period and for the first three missed days I took urine test all were positive... I waited four days and went to a woman's clinic so they could confirm my pregnancy (I was so excited) but test came up negative..... I figured it was just their tests weren't sensitive enough so I did three more home tests yesterday all three negative... Today I woke up cramping really really bad and now I'm spotting.... Please help explain this..... Could it have been a form of miscarriage?? Is it true that there isn't such thing as a false positive?? What could it be??

Aww, I'm sorry ur going through this. It sounds like a chemical pregnancy, a very early mc. It's quite common so please don't let it deter u from trying again. I had one in April, not fun, but there's a reason for everything!
False positives are extremely rare, it sounds more like u were pregnant but for whatever reason, the pregnancy wasn't viable (usually lining issues, progesterone issues or chromosomal abnormalities). It's a sad situation but try to pull a positive out of it, ur body is doing what it's supposed to do to ensure u carry a healthy baby.
Best of luck in the future!
