First fertility appointment and they prescribed 81mg aspirin? What is it for please comments?

Ok so I had my first appointment the 25th of June 2015. We went over everything like tests that I had done and DH. So the doctor told me that I need to get an HSG test Done just to make sure my tubes are not damaged or blocked. He also prescribed 81mg of aspirin to start taking the right away and prenatals aswell. Do any of you know what there for? Just to let you know we've been ttc for 5 years! It's our first time looking for help.TIA:)

The aspirin can help with blood flow to the uterus. It will help thicken the lining and aids in helping to prevent very early miscarriages also know as chemical pregnancies.
