4wk2days gestational sac on ultrasound negative urine test

My HPT's have been getting lighter over time but still positive. Got my first positive on 11dpo today is 16dpo-(this am urine test was so light it was almost negative). I assumed this was just another chemical. I have a short cycle so AF due 12 dpo. I went to my doctor who did a urine test, drew blood, and referred me to an obgyn. This morning I have a temp dip to just above baseline and very light pink spotting. I assumed that this was the start of early miscarriage. Here's where it gets weird.
At the OB's office I had an ultrasound and everything looks perfectly healthy, there was even a little gestational sac and my uterine lining is thick. My blood test from yesterday came back negative. Am I just miscarrying very slowly? Is there hope? This has been an emotional roller coaster. I want there to be hope but also want to know if there isn't any so that I can grieve and move on. I do not know my beta from today
