Breastfeeding and the return of your af?

I was wondering how soon did your af return when you exclusively breastfed? Usually it is 8 or 9 months for me, but this time it was 2 1/2 months. My af lasted 5 days, but each day was just a light flow of brown blood. It seemed kind of weird to me. Don't know if my cycle has returned for sure. I've been charting in case it has.
