Phantom Smells?!?!

So for the past week I have been smelling popcorn and there is no popcorn around, I thought maybe my head was just playing tricks on me. Now my husband thinks I'm insane because I keep asking him about it. Then at the coffee shop today my caramel macchiato smelled like tuna, and even had my friend smell it so I could know if I was losing my mind.
My question is this, has anyone else dealt with phantom smells before finding out the were pregnant?
My period is due tomorrow, so far no signs.
