LH SURGE
I'm curious. I've read different opinions on when the best time is for testing your LH surge. Some say first morning and others say afternoon....some are doing both. Is it necessary to test twice in a days time?
And....when you get the surge it can vary 24-48 hours for O is that correct? If so, then how do I pinpoint WHEN I actually O'd so I can start my DPO?
Lots of questions....sorry. But thanks for any and all advice :))

Fmu isn't supposed to be used with regular opks because lh typically builds up in the urine throughout the day. But cb digital opks and the cb fertility monitor actually request fmu because they also test for estrogen along with lh. Surges can be super short so sometimes you can miss it if ur only testing once a day. Generally u should test in the late morning and in the evening. I usually do about 9-10 am and 6 pm. As far as pinpointing o, u should o 12-48 hours after ur first positive opk, with the average being 24-36, so without temping to confirm, u can usually assume o will be the day after ur first positive opk.

Thanks. I have been using CB digital and last month I actually used digital and internet dip sticks to compare and they both tested pos on the same day.
I'm having to use so many digi sticks because I'm also on clomid and I noticed this month my solid smiley happened twice. I'm thankful I kept using it because it showed I surged on cd14 and then again cd 18.
And 18 was right because my AF showed on cd32.
I'll keep on this month and see what happens.
Good luck to you, and thanks for the advice :)
