gosh Iv never had this happen to me before, but bless ya I can imagine it would be alittle confusing I m not so sure if you can have alittle spotting during ovulation but I wouldn't like to say for certain are you sure you wasn't having spotting around CD1-4 and then had your full blown period then ? have you tried using OPK,S? I just use cheapy ones and last month I was starting using them around CD6 then CD8 onwards once I got a positive line for 4days then it gradually faded again you could just use cheapy OPK,S and then do a more expensive OPK around that time you think youre getting a positive That's what I would do but other ladies may well surgest different it might be aswell to do some reasearch online http://www.ovulation-calculator.com/spotting.htm don't know if that link helps I sent you but its about ovulation spotting I hope you pin point your fertile period and get down to the bottom of it GL :) x

I tell you also what I found intresting around the time I ovulated my pee was looking darker when I was getting the positive OPK,S and gradually went light again and turned bac to negatives Im not so sure if some ladies can spot this but I was surprised thinking I bet the cheapy LH surge strips were picking up LH surge in my pee, and I was getting ovulation pain around that time I was getting positive OPK,S 4days in a row, I just got a ferning microscope so im going to give that a try this month aswell I really hope you can figure out when to pin point that fertile period in your cycle I really hope you succeed Gl with it hunni :) xxx
