Starting Clomid 50mg today - Any Advice?
I have PCOS and am just starting clomid today. I went of BC in December and AF never should up. My Dr put me on progesterone to get my body to wake up and AF came 3 days ago. I am starting clomid tonight. I heard that taking it at night can help you sleep through some of the symptoms? I will be taking for 5 days and then on the 10th day of my cycle going to the Dr for an ultra sound and exam, so I will be monitored. Feeling a little nervous and would love to hear any advice about clomid and would really love to hear success stories too!

Hello! I've taken clomid before! I started out with 50mg (100mg later), and the first month, get ready for the hot flashes! LOL I was lucky that my work had a freezer, and I would randomly feel the need to go in there. My heart went out immediately to the women who have menopause. Hot flashes are horrible! The one GOOD thing that came out of clomid, is how they felt for my boobs. 3 weeks out of the whole month, my boobs would hurt almost all month. Since Clomid masks your estrogen, there wasn't any excess estrogen in my boobs for them to hurt. Also, don't get discouraged if it doesn't work the first time! Clomid can stay in your system up to 3-6 months! The potency will just decline, of course. I wish you well! My sister was a clomid baby! *baby dust*
