Question

Should I go to my ObGyn if I'm having very long cycles after a Miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage that ended on Jan 21st (I mean end as my HCG levels went to 0) I did not get my first period until March 18th (8 weeks after Miscarriage) and as of today, May 3rd (nearly 7 weeks after last period) I have still not gotten another period and I have tested BFN. Before my miscarriage I had an average cycle length of 30 days and did not vary more than 1 or 2 days from that.

Has anyone gone through a similar situation to this? Has anyone seen their doctor for this? I wanted to ask first because I am hoping to avoid going to the ObGyn and being told to just wait longer and that there is nothing that can be done. I don't want to waste their time.

Hello - sorry for your loss xxx

I had a miscarriage in October last year and my cycles have been quite long as well and all over the shop - 41 days, 39, 34, 39 etc and its driving me mental. I am going to see a naturopath today just to get all my hormone levels checked etc as my body definitely isn't the same since the miscarriage. I will let you know how I go xxx

Sorry for your loss as well. I hope that all goes well at the naturopath! I look forward to hearing how it goes.
