+OPK. -HPT. CD31. 19-20DPO. Could my medication be affecting my HPT results?! HELP!
My cycles are usually 28 days (30 max). I know I O'd either March 28 or 29 by tracking and using DIGI OPK. All HPTs are - but all of the $store OPK tests that I am taking are coming back so extremely positive that I don't know that to think! The test line is immediately darker than the control line on every single one that dark and positive for the last 4 days! I have tried every type of HPT and can't tell if they are very paint + or EVAPS.
Here is the kicker...I take 60mg Adderall every day for my ADD and have been for years. I have read that Adderall can mask HCG and give false results on HPTs.
I am so confused. I would really love to know what you guys think...

Hi there. I am in a similar situation. I also take Adderall 60 mg a day total. I had a short period earlier this month that was very light for me, and there were a couple hpt that seemed to have something, but then I restarted my Adderall script and now my hpt and opk all are negative. I have looked into this online, and there are some sites that say that amphetamines can interfere with the HCG in the urine tests, and then other sites that are from a more medical standpoint state that it does NOT cause false negatives. Also, I couldn't find any actual research that proved it one way or another. I'm thinking that it could be a myth based on someone misinterpreting that amphetamines can interfere with steroid hormones in the uring (estrogen or progesterone), but HCG is a protein.... all confusing, and sorry there isn't a real answer!

Same tests. Still no AF yet. I am starting to think I have irregular cycles and that I may have Od later than I thought. I wiped this morning and there was a little pink but not much and have not had anything since. Usually when I get AF she shows up with a vengeance. Could maybe be implantation bleeding? I don't know anymore! I have been doing $ store HPT and OPK tests everyday and getting a darker T line than the C line on every OPK. I know it isn't possible for me be be Oing that many days. I am so confused!
