how many people have gotten pregnant with multiples on first round of 50mg of clomid?
I will be started clomid in about a week for the first time and was wondering what my chances of multiples are my doctor told me a 1 in 8 change but I'm wondering how many people have. my ob told me that I have more eggs then someone my age so is there a higher chance for me? I'm 23 btw and had a miscarriage in October and surgery in January and everything is clear just stopped ovulating regularly. Its been 3 months since I had my last monthly too.

I'm sorry to hear that its not working for you. :( when my sister was pregnant they thought she was having twins with no meds but she ended up miscarrying before they knew for sure so I'm curious if that would make my chances higher. Thank you and baby dust to you.

I'm sure your chances are higher but doctors wont risk it if there are more than 4 or 5 follicles. I on my 1st round of clomid happened to get pregnant with 1 baby. I had 2 2mm follicles so just because you have multiple follies, doesn't necessarily mean all will get fertilized. But having more than 2 follies... Very likely to have twins or more.
