Question

Can implantation bleeding at 10dpo on be bad?

I've heard a few people say they had implantation bleeding days 10-14 of a regular 28 day cycle and ended badly (mc, chemical) ? How true is this..Any experiences?

Implantation happens between 7-12 dpo. Any spotting/bleeding during that time and even afterwards can be normal and is not necessarily a sign for mc or cp. Best to you.

It could also be a sign of low progesterone. Have you ever had that tested?

Implantation bleeding is anywhere from 7 dpo to 12 dpo. Normal is about 9 to 10 dpo. Spotting can be normal at any point, as long as its a small amount.

I don't know what the 'textbook' says ... but my experience it ended badly. But then both of my pregnancies ended badly and I only had implantation bleeding with one of them, so who knows. The pregnancy where I did have implantation bleeding around 10dpo ended with a ruptured ectopic at 6wks.

Having said that, there are plenty of women on this forum that have had implantation bleeding and still had normal pregnancies.
