Question

pregnancy test question!

I took a test late this evening and I didn't have a lot of pee (not sure how long I had held it) and it was negative. I am 12 dpo today and having only a few symptoms (twinges, nausea that comes and goes, lower back pain and my breasts will be sore on and off). I have also noticed my cervix is high medium and closed when I am usually low hard and closed when Af is coming. I also have had an increase is cm when I'm usually really dry before Af. In the past I never tracked my period and knew I was pregnant 3-4 days after my missed period because my boobs hurt so bad. I did so well up until tonight to wait to take the test. Do you think it may be wrong or not enough hcg? I'm thinking of getting a test to test on Wednesday (Af due date). Thoughts? I am feeling discouraged. I know the closer to Af you test with a negative the less likely you are pregnant. Please help! Thanks!!

by 12 DPO if you're pregnant you should be getting a positive, unless you O'd later than you think. With both of my pregnancies, I found out at 12DPO exactly that I was for sure pregnant.

Maybe wait until morning and test with your first pee of the day, or hold your pee for at least 3 hours - this will allow the HCG to build up in your system enough to be present in an HPT.
