Sorry to hear. I had a miscarriage around 7 weeks, then bled for about 2. If its any consolation fell pregnant again the very next cycle.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. I bled for 1 week, and I remember that my Dr told me if I didn't stop bleeding after 2 weeks, I had to go and see her again. Since that didn't happen, I never knew exactly why. I think it's because bleeding longer might be dangerous (you're very vulnerable for infection now, it's best to have no sex during the bleeding) and then maybe they will consider to interfere?

I'm also very sorry for your loss. I have had four miscarriages the last one last October was 11 weeks (although the baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks) and my bleeding last for three and a half weeks, almost one full month. Do not have sex while you are bleeding as you are predisposed to infection now. Then you should take a pregnancy test a week after the bleeding stops to ensure that you hcg levels go back down to zero.

I had an early miscarriage last month and bleed heavy for 2 1/2 days, medium flow for about a day, then light bleeding/spotting for another 4 days.
