Question

Need suggestions for fertility aids please!

I'm 27 and husband and I decided we would like to try for #3 and wondering what over the counter aids could help? Had mirena for 2 years and gotten it out in September. Started trying in October and had a chemical preg in November. Waited 1 month to start again and no luck. Periods are irregular and pretty heavy every cycle. Used opks 2 months ago and this last month used preseed and started working out but no bfp. I've heard of dhea but read mixed reviews and is it only for older ladies? If anybody has had success with anything else I would love to hear please!!!! Any advice would be much appreciated!

I used the instead soft cups this cycle....will know if they helped in about a week. They are supposed to hold the swimmers up by your cervix so there is a better chance of them finding their way into your uterus/cervix. Figurerd they wouldn't hurt.

Thanks! I've heard women using them think I will look into them. Good luck to you and hopefully get your bfp!!

I would start with diet. Improved nutrition can work wonders. Read books that discuss nutrition and fertility. Dark leafy greens, fishoil, nuts, avocados are just a few fertility boosters. Read up on vitex (chaste berry) for irregular cycles, evening primrose oil or pre seed for fertile mucus. Stay away from caffeine, sugar. Golden root was recommended to me by a herbalist, also look into red raspberry leaf tea or extracts. Get enough vit D and iron. Add a vitamin b complex to your prenatal vitamin or you can use Brewer's yeast for added b vitamins. DHEA is controversial. Don't use it if you have PCOS. Google ubiquinol, melatonin + myo-inositol for fertility, and soy isoflavones when TTC. Best to you.

I had my hubs taking fertiliaid for men, i am trying prenatal vitamins, evening primrose oil, & a semi progesterone pill called pregnancy prep.

I thought I was supposed to O on 17th (today) but I went ahead and have tried the internet OPk's this round out seems i ovulated on the 13-14 dates...glad I did or I would have missed it.

I am not sure if these work yet but i will be sure to update if they do. We have been trying for a while and thought we would give these few a shot before breaking down and going to doc.

fertibella. you get a 2 month free trial and if you dont like it you can cancel before they charge for the next 30 days. all you have to pay is s&h, it comes with a bbt, 20 free ovulation or preg tests, and a chart to help you keep up with the stuff. ive been taking it since the 1st and i can definitely tell a difference in how my body feels. all natural ingredients also. if you decide to try it though i would get the express s&h, i got standard and i have to continue ordering or cancel soon. really havent had a full month of using it yet. good news is, you can return it whether the bottles are empty or not, so just keep the pills and return the bottles. hopefully this works!

Thanks ladies for all the suggestions! I went today and got evening promise oil but I'm not sure when to take that and how many. They are 500mg. I also bought fertility blend and a basal thermometer and going to start tempting. I really hope this will all work!

Evening primrose oil: you can take up to 3,000 mg a day divided in a couple of doses. You can also use borage seed oil capsules. They work better for some because of the higher concentration of gamma linolenic acid.

I started taking Seven Seas Trying for a Baby about a month before I got pregnant. Tiny pill one every day and I secretly like to think they helped ^_^
