Question

How does the Cycle Calender work basic no extreme details?

I would like to know how does the cycle work in basic - I have never seen the need to learn all the information as I have never wanted to get pregnant.
Doc put me on Fertomed and Pholic-Acid and wants to increase the dosage after 3 months.

Now I want to and I don't get half of the stuff

Say Day 1 - cycle starts
Day 14 - I ovulate
Day ?? - I am fertile
Day ?? - I would feel pinching
Day ?? - Test time
Day 28 - Period alert

I am a basic person - please don't judge me :(

Cycle day 1 is the first day of your period. Every woman is different but my doc told me that your fertile days can be anywhere from cycle day 9 to 18. The average ovulation date (when most fertile) is cycle day 14 which is why it is used as a default but you can get ovulation tests to track it if you want. A lot of the pregnancy tests say they can tell if you're pregnant 6 days before your next period is due but I don't believe it. I've noticed (by looking at the pregnancy test pics here and from myself) that women usually get the positive line around 2 - 3 days before they're missed period or after. Hope this helps! The pinching feeling you mention...are you talking about when implantation occurs? The average for that is, I believe, 6 - 9 days past ovulation but, again, it varies for each individual lady. Good Luck!
