Question

Hi there has anyone tried at home sperm testers?

If so is there one brand/type that works better? I have regular cycles, I have been using OPK's and i think im ovulating. After 5 cycles we have BFN. My husband is 29 and im 36 so we thought we should start looking into possible issues.

MY DH and I brought the EPT home fertility kit there is also the Sperm Check Fertility both are around $50.00 at the drug store, it give you a positive or negative depending on your sperm count 20mil or more is over and 20 mil or less is negative. MY DH tried it and his came out negative, this was very difficult for him to hear. When he has a SA done at the doc office it was confirmed he count was low about 8 to 9 mil. So they do work but you have no way to now how low or high the count really is. We deicide to try this to determine is we should have him further tested or not, and since SA are expensive if you insurance does not cover it, this is a good way to start.

Thank you for your reply! I think we will give it a try and see what happens at least it does give us a good place to start either way.
