Open cervix?

I've been checking myself every month and I feel as if my cervix never closes! I'm not sure if I'm feeling the right thing but (tmi) when I insert my middle finger I can feel something that feels like i can fit my finger tip in? Is this normal? Isn't it supposed to close slightly even after ovulation ? Im 13dpo btw

If you've had a baby it most likely won't close up tight.

Oh okay, never knew that. Make sense now but figured it would atlas be smaller, especially since my son is 5 lol

Ive delivered vaginally and mine closes up like Fort Knox. It shouldnt remain open all the time, that opens u up for numerous infections within the uterus. Being so late in ur cycle it may be opening in prep for AF. Try checking several times a day. The change in shape may make it feel open. Before birth, its a dimple, after, its more like a slit.
