Question

How soon after conceiving can you start getting physically sick?

I was diagnosed with PCOS exactly a month ago. I started taking Metformin (500mg 3x daily). I started with 2 pills and increased to 3 after about a week. I have learned what I can and cannot eat with it. I am very diligent to take it with food and am drinking lots of water. The 1st three weeks it made me nauseated, and I lost my appetite big time, but just in the last few days I have been throwing up. I'm getting a negative PT, but it shouldn't really be positive for at least another week. (depending on when/if I ovulated this month). What I am wondering is: is it not weird to just start throwing up after a month of taking it? and also, how quickly did you start getting sick after ovulating/conceiving?

I started throwing up all day every day at 5 weeks pregnant. So 3 weeks after conception/ovulation.

I was the same as Kitten90. I didn't throw up as much, but I totally lost my appetite and couldn't handle the thought of food at about 5 weeks.
hCG affects women differently, so you COULD get sick earlier.
Good luck!!
